Description : ECOP Technologies is an Austrian clean tech company specializing in high temperature industrial heat pumps designed to decarbonise process heat and recover waste heat efficiently. Its flagship product, the Rotation Heat Pump, is based on a novel, multi patented centrifugal compression process that replaces conventional refrigerants with a non toxic, non flammable working gas and achieves output temperatures of up to 200°C, enabling applications far beyond the limits of standard heat pumps. Unlike traditional systems, ECOP’s rotating architecture compresses a noble gas mixture via centrifugal force, eliminating phase change cycles and delivering high efficiency, long operating lifetimes and flexible operating points.
